ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to severe storm damage at FDR State Park, Lusty Month of May has been moved to Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla, GA.
The large group camp has 130 beds, in 4 dorm-style cabins, each sleeping approximately 36 persons. Bathhouses are located inside the cabins and have heated showers and flush toilets. Each cabin contains a large common room with fireplace.
Tent camping is not available on site, but is available elsewhere in the park. A few cottages are also available for rent through the park. For more information on tenting and cottages, call 1-800-864-7275 or go to the Georgia State Parks system's website.
The event site opens at 5 p.m. Eastern time on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday. No pets allowed in the group camp area with the exception of service animals.
Site is discreetly wet - no original containers and PLEASE take your empties with you.
Head southeast on I-75 S. Take exit 212 toward Locust Grove/Hampton/Jackson. Turn left onto Bill Gardner Pkwy. Turn right onto GA-42 S/US-23 S. Turn left onto W 3rd St. Slight right onto US-23 S/Macon Ave. Continue to follow US-23 S. Turn right onto Old Springs Rd. Continue onto GA-42 S. Turn right onto Cenie Rd. Continue onto Group Camp Rd.
